Knit Visor Beanie
Substance & Style
Before we designed our Knit Visor Beanie, we used to rock a skull cap over a ball cap to keep the rain and snow out of our eyes when fishing in bad weather. Problem with this was twofold: first ball cap bills are longer than necessary for keeping out rain and snow, second we looked dorky. True fish don't care how we look, but potential mates do and that's little more important on most days.
By using a thread combination of 30% wool and 70% acrylic we created a beanie that keeps you warm but doesn't make your dome itch. Our bill is similarly geared towards performance - it's the perfect size to keep rain and snow out of your eyes, but not so long that it feels awkward on a beanie. Trust us, we tried many, many different bill shapes and lengths before we knew this was the right one.
