Why do you only make this technical rain jacket for women? This is a constant question and one we answer by saying "because no other company makes a good one." True there are some great brands with so-called female jackets but they all fall short of truly delivering fit, function and great looks. Unlike everyone else, we did not start with a mans jacket and scale it down for women. We started with athletic women and built a beautiful and highly technical jacket around their bodies and needs. The result is a jacket that fits like a glove yet offers the most advanced features on any fishing jacket: latex gaskets in the wrists to prevent water from seeping into the sleeves, no pockets on the chest for obvious reasons, extra cargo capacity on biceps and back pockets to carry gear comfortably, fleece lined front pockets and collar to keep women warm, independent collar and ponytail compatible hood for the same reason, offset front zipper to protect skin on chin, and 3-layer breathable fabric with 80/20 DWR water repellent finish to make it the best rain jacket available.
NOTICE: Due to the strong demand for the Nikita by men (yes men wore the women's version last year!) we have decided to make a limited number of these jackets for men. Same killer features as the women's but with a different cut and more masculine fit. The NIK is also one color, rather than a combination.
