Lippa4Life - USA

Underwater Action - You can see how the jaws of the Lippa hold the Trout securely - even the little guy on the right. The shape, and rounded edges on the USA L4L make it the best for Trout and other "sensitive species," the Stainless Steel version is not as well suited. Similarly, it should also be obvious that if these same fish were lifted vertically out of the water with the Lippa that they would be hurt (just look at the image at right, seeing where the L4L holds the Trout and you should be able to imagine this area would not hold the entire weight of the Trout if it was held out of the water). This is a the KEY, lifting fish vertically, like you see in Saltwater shots using the Boga, is the wrong way to deal with trout. If you keep the trout in the water, control them with the Lippa4Life and then remove the hook there is 0 chance you will hurt them - better than using a net, holding them in your hands or 'beaching' them on the bank to release. The same applies to other Freshwater species that have thin skin around the mouth area - but is much less of an issue with sea running fish that are more resilient.
